'Construction of a Friend' explores an attempt to dissolve the feelings of loneliness by finding companionship within one's self.
This work is inspired by the personal results of spending long periods of time alone, and how one can begin to pluralise themselves - thinking of themselves as one and the other. This photographic series portrays a crude envisioning of another presence. The depiction is as if it were another being, able to simulate comforting qualities in homely surroundings just as a friend would.
