I Ate My Friends

Personal project for Tsuki World

A painting series to express and deal with the increasing sense of loneliness and isolation that came with being away from the people Precious loved the most. Video calls can't replace the feelings that a hug can give. The paintings depict the intensity of her feelings of loneliness and desire to be physically reunited with her friends— in a visual style that spoke to Precious’ personality.

Painting, Precious Opara
